How it works
Everything you need to track your flow
GitHub activity, tasks, focus time and goals on one dashboard. GitHub is the only integration today.
GitHub sync
Connect a repository to see its commits from the last 7 days, open pull requests and main language. Public repositories need no token.
Task board
A four-column board (To Do, In Progress, In Review, Done) with priorities and story points. Completed points feed your velocity on the dashboard.
Focus timer
Run a Pomodoro-style timer or a full-screen focus console, or log sessions by hand. See today's blocks and your weekly focus time.
Goals and streaks
Set weekly goals, log progress each day and keep a streak going. Weekly progress resets on Monday at 00:00 UTC; export everything as JSON for standups and reviews.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does GitHub sync work?
Add a repository (owner/repo or its URL) on the GitHub page. DevTrack reads its commits from the last 7 days, its open pull request count and its main language through GitHub's API. Without a token only public repositories work, within GitHub's limit of 60 unauthenticated requests per hour. A personal access token from Settings → Integrations raises that limit and allows private repositories; it is stored encrypted on the server. The list of connected repositories is kept in the browser you use, not in your account.
Does DevTrack connect to GitLab, Bitbucket, Jira or calendars?
No. GitHub is the only integration today, and Jira is marked as coming soon in Settings. Tasks, focus blocks and goals are entered in DevTrack itself.
What does the focus timer do?
It is a Pomodoro-style timer with 25 and 50 minute focus presets and 5 and 15 minute breaks. A full-screen focus console hides everything else and responds to Space, R and Esc. A session can be tied to a task, and you can also log a block by hand.
Is DevTrack free?
Nothing in DevTrack is paywalled today. You sign in with your developerOS account, the same one used across the other developerOS products.
What data does DevTrack store, and can I export or delete it?
DevTrack stores the tasks, goals, daily check-ins, focus sessions and profile settings you create, plus your GitHub token (encrypted) if you add one. In Settings → Data & Export you can download your tasks, goals, check-ins and focus sessions as one JSON file, or delete them. The developerOS privacy policy covers the rest.
